EUROPEAN ASSOCIATION FOR THEATRE CULTURE
AKT-ZENT INTERNATIONAL THEATRE CENTRE.
RESEARCH CENTRE OF THE THEATRE TRAINING AND EDUCATION COMMITTEE OF THE INTERNATIONAL THEATRE INSTITUTE/UNESCO
Dear Colleagues,

We want to draw your attention to the deadline - 15th of May - for the early booking discount for the International Theatre Summer Academy

29 June - 18 July 2009 in Italiy, Rubiera (Modena)
Three parallel courses will be conducted by the Team of Teachers, which was created by Prof. Dr. Jurij Alschitz during the last 12 years. Here you can get the experience of the true meaning of a SCHOOL: All teachers are working in the same methodological way but will look from different points of view at the theme of our actual long-term research: THE ART OF DIALOGUE.
You can chose between three courses:

I. Dialogue between Theatre and Literature
II. Dialogue between Theatre and Music
III. Dialogue between Theatre and the Visual Arts
In the historical buildings of La Corte Ospitale we will find perfect working conditions, and enough place to live all together. Pushkin's dialogue MOZART AND SALIERI will connect all courses and give us enough material for artistic discussions and exchange.

International Masterclasses for Directors and Trainers
Will mediate new teaching and rehearsal methods. It is a theatre research in dialog with directors and teachers, which leads to a long-term further development of the subject, which can directly be applied in the practical work. Three masterclasses will cover three themes, which build upon each other - how to lead and how to teach the Art of Dialog:

The number of participants is limited! We suggest early application with CV and a Letter of Motivation! The participation in all 3 modules is obligatory.
