Representation of rights

Representation of rights

The rights holder is a person who holds copyright or associated rights, or who has the right to a share of the remuneration for those rights. The rights holder may be a member of the union or delegate the exercise of their rights to the union through a representation agreement.

As a collective representation organisation, the union acts in the interests of the rights holders based on laws and regulations and does not impose obligations on them that are not objectively necessary for this activity.

If the union exercises the copyright or associated rights of the rights holder, the rights holder cannot exercise their rights at the same time.
