The base rates and license fees for the Estonian Actors Union members working in advertising in 2022.

 

All minimum rates shown below are gross wages, from which the employer must withhold all taxes prescribed by law and pay social tax (33%). The minimum salary fund is indicated in parentheses after the gross wages.

 

The base rate is the minimum wage rate for members of the Estonian Actors Union, i.e., the minimum tariff. The actual pay is agreed upon in a contract between the parties. In the case of invoicing (sole proprietor), the social tax and VAT are added to the gross wage if the invoicer is a VAT payer.

 

AUDIOVISUAL ADVERTISEMENT (commercial):

 

● A: Salary, including the right to broadcast in Estonia through one medium, for up to 6 months: 1200 euros (salary fund: 1605.60 euros)

 

● B: Each different version of the clip, for up to 6 months: 600 euros

 

● C: Additional rights for broadcasting in various different media platforms (in addition to the original), for up to 6 months:

 

● D: Additional rights for a "still image" (frame from an audiovisual ad) i.e. print, for up to 6 months:

 

● E: Additional rights for broadcasting outside of Estonia, for up to 6 months:

 

● F: Extension of license (for six months - 50% of the original fee; for one month - 12.5% of the original fee):

 

● G: Announcement about an event (broadcasting up to 14 days before the event): 600 euros (salary fund: 802.80 euros)

 

 

● E: Price information about goods or services (broadcasting up to 14 days): 600 euros (salary fund: 802.80 euros)

 

 

AUDIOVISUAL ADVERTISEMENT AUDIO PART (voice-over for a video advertisement):

 

● A: Salary, including the right to broadcast in Estonia through one medium, for up to 6 months: 170 euros (salary fund: 227.46 euros)

 

 

● B: Each different version of the clip, for up to 6 months: 85 euros (salary fund: 113.73 euros)

 

 

● C: Additional rights for broadcasting in various different media platforms (in addition to the original), for up to 6 months:

 

● D: Additional rights for broadcasting outside of Estonia, for up to 6 months:

● B: Each different version of the clip, up to 6 months: 150 euros (salary fund: 200.7 euros)

 

● C: Additional rights for broadcasting in various different media platforms (in addition to the original), up to 6 months:

AUDIO ADVERTISEMENTS ("radio commercials"):

 

● A: Salary, with the right to broadcast through one medium in Estonia, up to 6 months: 130 euros (salary fund: 173.94 euros)

 

● B: Each different version of the clip, up to 6 months: 65 euros (salary fund: 86.97 euros)

 

● C: Additional rights for broadcasting in various different media platforms (in addition to the original), up to 6 months:

 

● D: Announcement of an event (broadcast up to 14 days before the event): 65 euros (salary fund: 86.97 euros)

 

● E: Additional rights for broadcasting outside of Estonia, up to 6 months:

● H: Discounts (local broadcast only): Harju County - 70% of fees; one county (excluding Harju county) - 50% of fees.

 

 

PRINT ADVERTISEMENTS: 

 

● A: Salary, with the right to display for up to 3 months: 1000 euros (salary fund: 1338 euros)

 

● B: Each different version, up to 3 months: 500 euros (salary fund: 669 euros)

 

● C: Additional rights for displaying in multiple locations (in addition to the original), up to 3 months:

 

● D: Additional rights for display outside of Estonia, up to 3 months:

 

● E: License extension (for six months - 50% of the initial fee; for one month - 12.5% of the initial fee):

 

● F: Discounts (for local distribution only): Harjumaa - 70% of fees; one county (excluding Harjumaa) - 50% of fees.

 

 

 

• A: Advertising campaign / presentation of the same advertisement in different types (and versions): 100% for the most expensive + 50% for each subsequent type or version.
