Estonian Public Broadcasting
The base rates for the Estonian Actors Union members for working in television for Estonian Public Broadcasting in 2023.
All the minimum rates shown below are gross wages, from which the employer must deduct all taxes and pay social tax (33%). If the actor is working under a contract for services or as a sole proprietor and there are characteristics of an employment relationship, the following base rates will apply.
1. Minimum contractual daily rate (up to 10 working hours):
● A part - lead role: 183.92 euros
- additional hourly rate for the first hour: 27.59 euros
- additional hourly rate for each subsequent hour: 36.78 euros
● B part - supporting role: 152.46 euros
- additional hourly rate for the first hour: 22.87 euros
- additional hourly rate for each subsequent hour: 30.49 euros
● C part - one to three-hour workday: 91.96 euros
- if the work hours exceed the above limit, the minimum pay of 152.46 euros will apply
2. Recitation of poetry and/or prose (if there is a visual and audio presentation and point 1 does not apply):
● Work up to 10 minutes: 34.10 euros
- additional per-minute rate: 1.65 euros
- Work up to 5 minutes (minimum engagement time is 15 minutes): 17.05 euros
- additional per-minute rate for 5-10 minutes: 3.41 euros
3. Presentation when there is only audio (dubbing, reading behind the scene, voiceover, synchronisation, etc.):
● 60% of point 2 rates (the length of the presentation is based on the full length of the program)
