Honorary members
The Estonian Actors' Union restored the tradition of electing honorary members in the early 1990s at the suggestion of the then chairman of the union, Rein Oja.
A long-time member of the Union who has celebrated his 70th birthday is chosen as an honorary member in order to recognize and show respect for his worthy contribution to Estonian theater life.
